Here at BRUU HQ, we love to switch on Netflix with a good BRUU. So, we’ve paired together three fantastic films with three tantalizing teas.
Stranger Things - IT'S DARJEELING
Set in the 1980s in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana, the first season focuses on the investigation into the disappearance of a young boy amid supernatural events occurring around the town, including the appearance of a girl with psychokinetic abilities.
Its Darjeeling is a blend of two harvests, balancing perfectly light and fruity flavours, for a truly unique Darjeeling. This tea for us perfectly represents the feeling and tones of Stanger Things across all three seasons so far. It has a mysterious side and a mixture of dark and light.
The Witcher – LANCASHIRE BEST
Based on the book series by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski. It’s set on a fictional, medieval-inspired land known as "the Continent". The Witcher explores the legend of Geralt of Rivia and princess Ciri, who are linked to each other by destiny.
The Witcher is a wonderful new show on Netflix and has a unique perspective as well as voice. Our chosen tea has the same perspective, a fantasy aroma with a serious taste behind it.
Bright – MAGIC MOON
In an alternate present-day, humans, orcs, elves and fairies have been coexisting since the beginning of time. Two police officers, one a human, the other an orc, embark on a routine night patrol that will alter the future of their world as they know it. Battling both their differences as well as an onslaught of enemies, they must work together to protect a young female elf and a thought-to-be-forgotten relic, which, in the wrong hands, could destroy everything.
Magic Moon is an extraordinary blend of black and green tea. This tea is not only strikingly decorated, the selected ingredients unite to create a completely new taste experience: the sweet papaya interacts harmoniously with the shining rose hip peel. Bright is one of Netflix’s most successful movies so far. Magic Moon for us compliments the show by both having created new experience whether in fantasy or tea, as well as the black and green, can be seen as presenting the humans and Orcs.
