As some of you will know, I get married in December, and the pressure to feel and look amazing, is definitely there, whether I want it to be or not.
It has to be said that on the whole, I am a healthy person, I like to eat clean, and I love to be outside, and live a fairly active life – however, I am partial to some indulgences too, who doesn’t love chocolate and the occasional glass of wine, and I certainly don’t venture to the gym!
So when people have been asking me whether I have started my pre-wedding diet, or say ‘are you shredding for the wedding’ (apparently that is a thing!), all I have been doing is looking at them blankly and saying “no”, very sheepishly.
Add to that, recently reading a bridal magazine, I noticed a countdown checklist, I am supposed to have started my ‘wedding skin care regimen’ about 4000 years ago!
I don’t know about you, but I truly believe that your weight, health, skin, and general wellbeing starts from within. Not meaning to go all hippy on you, but the healthier and happier you are, the better you will look and feel.
All that being said, I decided to put my money where my mouth is and invest in doing a BRUU Teatox.
So we claim that it will flush out your digestive system, speed up your metabolism, improve your energy levels, help you sleep better, and make your skin much more radiant.
Anything natural has my vote, and to be truthful, minimal disruption to my normal life is also helpful, after all, I am a busy bee making sure you lovely lot are looked after.
I need to drink one cup of the ‘Rise and Shine’ Teatox tea every morning, and then one cup of the ‘Night Night’ Teatox tea just before bed. I will keep you updated in a couple of weeks.
Get the kettle on… time to start ‘shredding for the wedding’
