A true taste of India.
What it is?
A gutsy chai tea with an exotic mix of whole spices.
Why we love it
It's smoky, sweet, and spicy. It's got the lot. A strong aromatic tea that takes us back to our childhood, the smell reminds us of the Aniseed Balls sweets so definitely one to makes us smile.
Where it’s from
Assam, India (Black Tea). There are four distinct seasons in Assam - summer, monsoon, autumn, and winter. Assam tea is mostly grown at or near sea level and is known for its body, briskness, malty flavour, and strong, bright colour. Assam district is very popular for tourists with many tea estates offering guest rooms so you can get a real feel for what it's like to live on a tea estate, as well as visit the factory and see how tea is made.!
How our drink hits the senses
Opening a bag of this chai is like opening a bag of Aniseed Balls (sweets). While infusing, the black tea which sat in the background up until now reminds you why it's a success here at BRUU. Smoky, sweet, and spicy. It's got the lot.
The taste journey
The blossom side to this wonderful drink is perfectly balanced in association with the tongue. A gentle, sweet and cleansing sensation that your mouth will thank you for.
