Where it’s from
Mahseer is located in the centre of Assam, Northeast India, on the North bank of the Brahmaputra River in the district of Sonitpur, 20 minutes from the ancient city of Tezpur and 2hrs away from Kaziranga National Park. It is a beautiful oasis set in the midst of the Balipara division of Addabarie Tea Estate. Assam tea is mostly grown at or near sea level and is known for its body, briskness, malty flavour, and strong, bright colour.
