Share Your Story. Inspire our World

They say a picture tells a thousand words, so this month we're inviting you to celebrate World Photo Day with us on the 19th August. It's a day that inspires photographers from around the world to share a single photo for one simple purpose: to inspire the world with their world.

Photography has the power to tell stories, inspire generations and initiate positive change in the world, so it seemed like a fantastic cause to get behind and tea is the perfect subject. So, no matter who you are, where you are or what equipment and skills you have, we want to encourage you to takes some photographs of your tea world and share them with us. The best photograph will win £50 to spend in the BRUU tea shop and it will feature on our homepage for 2 weeks. Oooh we hear you say?! *COMPETITION NOW CLOSED

Our teas this month should help inspire some fantastic moments and photographs, especially our beautiful Downy White with lashings of mango, marigold, cornflowers and safflower.

Downy White - A Chinese white tea made with the wiry downy white leaf from the terraces of the Karst Hills in China. It's blended with a pai mu tan, marigold, safflower, cornflower and a touch of mango to enhance the natural sweetness in this mild tea.

Bancha Green - This light apple colour, grassy yet sweet green tea is low in astringency and comes from the Dafo region of China. It is a spring 2017 harvested tea so still retains lots of its natural freshness.

KTDA East of Rift Pekoe - This is the tea we take home at BRUU. It was only recently on the slopes of Mt Kenya and still smells fresh. This high-altitude region creates a delightful aromatic black tea, almost biscuity, bright yet punchy. From the Kangaita Tea Factory it was harvested from the premium side of the valley at over 7000ft above sea level.

How to take part:
Grab a camera and take some tea related photographs and send them to us by 5pm on the 18th August. You can email them to hello@bruutea.co.uk or share them with us on social media, remember to tag @BRUUtea in. We will announce the winner on the 19th August, good luck.
