How our drink hits the senses:
Whilst sitting dry in its container waiting to become your BRUU;
A vegetal, mossy yet fruity aroma tingles the senses.
As the drink is BRUUing;
A beautiful BRUU with wonderful colours starts to fill the pot.
The taste journey;
It is a light first flush with a flowery aroma and a light-brown cup. It really is a rare treat!
About the tea region:
Darjeeling is a region of hills divided by seven river valleys, of which the Teesta and its tributary, the Rangeet, are the most important. Tea dominates the sometimes precipitous valley sides where it is planted between 600 - 2200 meters high. It is then overlooked by the indigenous forest above. Â
Why we love Darjeeling Gielle?
Darjeeling is frequently called the "Champagne of teas," and this organic tea has delicate vegetal, mossy, fruity, and citrus flavours.Â
